I received an ARC of Sacred Venom: A Dark Stalker Romance by Mona Noctra and thoroughly enjoyed its gothic atmosphere, morally grey characters, and intriguing mystery.
Zaiya's character development was one of my favorite elements, and Edwin certainly delivers the obsessive, protective energy that fans of darker romance often enjoy.
I particularly appreciated the secret society elements, unexpected twists, supporting characters, and exploration of power and control.
Although I would have liked a little more breathing room during certain developments, the overall story kept me interested and eager to discover what happened next.
This is an unapologetically dark romance with explicit content and potentially disturbing themes, so I strongly recommend reviewing the trigger warnings beforehand.
Overall: 4/5 stars! A great option for readers who enjoy gothic suspense, obsessive MMCs, and morally complicated romance.
